Recently, a restyled flagship crossover of the Bavarian brand was caught in the lens of photo spies. Judging by the resulting photographs, it will change very significantly in appearance.

Spy photos make it clear that the update will be significant, above all from the front. The main change in appearance is that the front optics will become "two-story". The main headlight units will be located below, and on top there will be narrow strips in which there will be either side lights or direction indicators. A similar solution will be applied to the new BMW X8 which we rendered earlier.

Another visible change is that the radar in the lower air intake will become wider and larger in size. The radiator grille in the spy shots is visually the same shape and size. The hood and front fenders will probably remain unchanged as well - this is exactly what our render shows.

There is no information on changes in the technical part yet, but it can be assumed that there will be more hybrid modifications and, probably, an electric one. The current flagship crossover is equipped with a wide range of gasoline and diesel engines, the basic diesel modification 30d is equipped with a 249-horsepower inline 3.0, the base gasoline 40i - with a 340-horsepower inline of the same volume. The premiere of the novelty is expected next year.
