Ferrari’s hardcore version of the F12, supposedly called the VS, is set to be launched next week from Maranello. The F12VS is the spiritual successor to the 599 GTO and will feature revised aerodynamics on the front and rear bumpers including a performance upgrade taking the F12 to above 750bhp.

Of course, it goes without saying, that Ferrari will have their eyes set on competing with the Lamborghini Aventador SV which is more powerful and is second only around the Nurburgring to the Porsche 918 Spyder.

The F12 Version Speciale is a limited run Ferrari with most cars having been sold already. It will top the range of Ferrari’s road-going production cars (discounting the LaFerrari).
