Range Rover promises to unveil its most luxurious model ever at the New York Motor Show next month, which seems almost impossible given the opulent nature of the range-topping Autobiography Black. While that starts from $185,030 in long wheelbase guise, the new model – teased here from above – will almost certainly come priced north of $200k. Range Rover will also introduce a new HST variant of the Range Rover Sport in NYC.
It will slot beneath the RR SVR, with power coming from a 3.0-liter supercharged V6 rated at 380 hp, so 40 horses more than the Range Rover Sport. Differentiating the HST will be a Stealth Pack, Santorini Black roof, a restyled spoiler, and unique 21-inch rims finished in dark satin gray housing upgraded brakes with red calipers. Other distinguishing features include gloss black accents, special badging, extra vents and sculpted body-color lower door panels. The chassis of the HST benefits from an updated suspension, while the cabin comes with two-tone Oxford leather seats with ebony highlights and aluminum trim.
