Hennessey will unveil an upgraded version of their already powerful Venom GT at the SEMA 2015 . The new 2016 model gets a power boost of 207 bhp taking the total to 1451 bhp thanks to an increase in boost pressure fom 19 psi to 26 psi. Hennessey plan to continue producing the Venom GT until 2016 before subsequently replacing it with the Venom F5.

The new model comes with the same 7.0 litre twin turbocharged V8 but now with more additional power and torque. This power upgrade can propel this car to a top speed of more than 280 mph and a 0-60 mph time of 2.4 seconds. Considering the hypercar weighs only 1244 kg, this is the worlds first production car to have a better power to weight ratio than the One:1. This is an outstanding feat and we can imagine this car defeating every other competitor when it comes to a drag race.

Hennessey will unveil this hypercar on November 3 alongside the Supercharged Mustang Convertible and the 650hp Velociraptor truck which is based on the Ford F-150.
