Anyone with an interest in Fiat Chrysler, or more specifically the Jeep brand, will undoubtedly have heard the constant rumblings about a Grand Cherokee making it into production fitted with the awesome Hemi Hellcat V-8 engine under the hood. Well, it now appears the rumor has had some official confirmation after Jeep CEO, Mike Manley, reportedly told Australia’s Wheels Magazine that what will eventually be called the Grand Cherokee TrackHawk.
2018 is currently being bandied about as the year when the 707 horsepower, supercharged V-8 beast of an engine will be consigned to history. In the meantime, it appears FCA wants to make hay while the sun shines by dropping the Hellcat engine into anything it will fit into.
